Stunt Team Assistant Coach - Part-Time

As our Stunt Team Assistant Coach, you will support the Senior Manager of Performance Teams in coordinating and executing performances during Trail Blazers games and events. You will assist with organizing stunt assignments, ensuring safety and readiness of performance, and fostering fan engagement.  This is a part-time, event-based role.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced stunter who prioritizes team safety and understands proper stunt techniques. We’re looking for someone organized and enthusiastic who can guide the team through seamless performances and support our game-day operations. If this sounds like you, apply by November 7.

DAY-TO-DAY: 

• Arrive 15 minutes early and check in with the Senior Manager of Performance Teams for updates on special events and assignments.
• Coordinate with Game Operations to set stunt team locations and organize partner assignments for seamless game performances.
• Ensure all materials, including T-shirts, props, and branding items, are prepared, safe, and organized for game night.
• Lead the team in timely arrivals for parades, sponsorship activations, and game ball presentations; assist Rip City Crew when needed.
• Prepare and distribute T-shirts for the game operations team and handle game ball presentations.
• Create unforgettable fan experiences by fostering respectful, engaging interactions and encouraging fan chants and participation.
• Support all halftime activities, coordinating logistics and assisting with branding materials for the third quarter.
• Ensure team readiness for celebratory displays, including holding win signs during big moments.
• Conduct end-of-night locker room checks to confirm the return of all team items.Include job responsibilities

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

• Prior experience in co-ed stunting, coaching, stunt coordination, or a similar role within a sports or entertainment environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with team members and fans.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for stunt performances.
• Ability to motivate and inspire team members to excel in their roles.
