As our Corporate Partnership Sales Director, you’ll be a vital seller within our Partnerships team, responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of integrated corporate partnerships. Your role will involve developing and executing innovative sales strategies while fostering strong relationships with our future new clients. You will collaborate closely with Commercial Partnership teammates in Activation and Strategy as well as in departments across the organization like marketing, ticket sales, operations, finance, business solutions, and others to achieve a common goal.

 

We’re looking for someone with experience in partnership sales and a passion for building and maintaining client relationships. Our ideal candidate has a background in sales strategy and is adept at negotiation and communication. DAY-TO-DAY: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth within assigned categories through partnership and sponsorship sales.
  • Research and identify potential corporate partners who align with our brand and values.
  • Create compelling and customized sales presentations that effectively communicate the benefits of partnering with our organization.
  • Lead negotiations with potential partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
  • Collaborate with the Activation & Strategy teams to continue building and maintaining strong decision-maker level relationships with existing partners.
  • Work with the Activation team to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction that will support ways to grow and upsell the clients.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ticketing, marketing, operations, community, DEI, marketing, innovation and events, to deliver on partnership commitments.
  • Attend games and other events to entertain clients and build corporate relationships.
  • Ensure your activity is consistently updated in our KORE CRM, as well as providing regular updates, reports and presentations to senior management, outlining sales progress and opportunities.

 

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, partnership sales, or related field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement sales plans.
  • A growth mindset, along with a positive demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and develop collaborative relationships with colleagues across the company.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

 

WE’D BE THRILLED IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

  • Demonstrated success in partnership sales in the sports or entertainment industry
  • Strong understanding of television and radio media sales
  • Experience in evolving activation and fan engagement assets into partnership packages.
  • Thorough understanding of digital and social marketing.
